During a working visit to Karaganda Region, Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev inspected the region’s preparedness for the flood season, assessed the condition of key hydraulic structures, and visited settlements in Bukhar-Zhyrau, Karkaraly, Shet, and Abai districts that are at risk of flooding.

Under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva, issues related to the development of the social sector of the Kyzylorda region were reviewed in Kyzylorda. The meeting was attended by Akim of the region Nurlybek Nalibayev, as well as representatives of relevant ministries.
First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar, during a working visit to the Pavlodar region, visited key energy, industrial, and social facilities of the region.
In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and within the framework of the Government’s systematic work, the development of Almaty Region in 2025 was focused on improving public welfare and strengthening the region’s economic potential. A key emphasis was placed on job creation and comprehensive infrastructure modernization, primarily in rural areas, where more than 80% of the region’s population resides.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, during a working trip to Almaty Region, reviewed the implementation of a number of investment and industrial projects that align with the objectives set by the President to diversify the economy, increase industrial output, expand the share of deep processing, and attract investment into priority sectors of the economy.
Under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva, issues related to the development of the social sector in the Karaganda region were reviewed in Karaganda. The discussion was attended by representatives of relevant social sector ministries, as well as the Akim of the region, Yermaganbet Bulekpayev.
Despite the decline in global oil prices and external economic factors, Kazakhstan’s budget system is demonstrating resilience, and all social obligations will be fulfilled in full. Minister of Finance Madi Takiyev reported on budget execution for 11 months at the Government session.
At the Government session chaired by Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, the current water management situation was reviewed. Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev reported on the risks of the upcoming growing season and the preventive measures to ensure water supply for farmers.
To ensure the efficient distribution of irrigation water in the Turkistan region, limits on planting water-intensive crops have been revised based on projected water availability during the upcoming growing season.
