Production of stationary ventilators opened in Kazakhstan

Prime Minister Askar Mamin visited Kazakhstan Aselsan Engineering LLP, a defense industry enterprise, which organized the production of stationary ventilators (IVL) during the pandemic.

This device is designed for prolonged ventilation of the lungs of adults and children in intensive care units in hospitals. The ventilator meets the requirements of the Ministry of Healthcare of Kazakhstan and has been successfully tested at the Multidisciplinary Infection Center in Nur-Sultan, having received a positive expert opinion from medical specialists.

Today, the industrial assembly of ventilators is carried out with a localization level of up to 30% with the prospect of increasing it to 50 and more percent. The level of localization during the production cycle will increase due to the equipment of Kazakhstan Aselsan Engineering LLP with modern technological equipment and high competence of engineering and technical personnel in the production of electronic, radio-electronic and optical devices. The technological potential of other defense enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan is involved in the production of ventilators.

According to the order of the Ministry of Healthcare, ventilators will be delivered to medical institutions in all regions of the country in the amount of 1,500 units during September-October of this year.

Along with the assembly of ventilators, the engineering and technical personnel of the enterprise will provide training for medical workers in medical institutions, and will also provide technical support 24/7. The company provides a 3-year warranty period.

The head of government got acquainted with the production and instructed to ensure timely delivery of products to medical institutions in the country.

Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar, Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Beibut Atamkulov, Minister of Healthcare Alexey Tsoy and Akim of Nur-Sultan Altai Kulginov took part in the inspection of the production site of Kazakhstan Aselsan Engineering LLP.
