Government considers issues of digitalization of land relations and optimization of public services

Prime Minister Askar Mamin chaired a meeting of the Commission under the President of Kazakhstan on Digitalization.

The meeting reviewed the implementation of the state program Digital Kazakhstan, initiated by the First President - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, and the execution of instructions of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to accelerate the digitalization of the country's economy.

The Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Askar Zhumagaliyev reported on the measures taken to introduce digitalization in the sphere of land relations, as well as automation and optimization of public services.

The state program Digital Kazakhstan provides for the creation and implementation by 2021 of the information system of the Unified State Real Estate Cadastre, as well as the National spatial data infrastructure. This will create a digital map of Kazakhstan, simplify the procedure for the population to receive services in the field of land relations and architecture, automate control and monitoring of land use.

In the Address to the people of Kazakhstan of the First President - Elbasy dated Oct. 5, 2018, it was instructed to ensure the transfer of 80% of the electronic format by the end of 2019, and 90% of public services by the end of 2020. After enforcing in September 2019 of the Amendments, the public services registry covers 723 services, of which 579 (80.08%) will be available in electronic form.

Summing up the meeting, Prime Minister Askar Mamin noted the importance of the digital agenda and instructed to intensify work on the implementation of digital solutions in the economy.
