Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov holds meeting with Minister of Healthcare of Uzbekistan Behzod Musaev

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov held a meeting with the Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan Behzod Musayev.

Yeraly Tugzhanov, presenting the results of development and achievements in the field of healthcare in our country, said that Kazakhstan is ready to cooperate in this area and is ready to provide assistance and support in the development of the healthcare system of Uzbekistan. Our highly qualified medical professionals will be able to share their experience and knowledge on all aspects of ensuring public health.

Tugzhanov, having familiarized the members of the delegation with the production and effectiveness of the domestic drug for coronavirus infection QazVac, raised an important, today, issue of the need to intensify work on the mutual recognition of vaccine passports. This will ensure the unimpeded movement of citizens of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and will allow the resumption and intensification of business contacts between our countries.

In turn, Behzod Musayev expressed gratitude for the cooperation and said that Uzbekistan has a great interest in the projects of our country, implemented in the medical field within the framework of public-private partnership.

Tugzhanov said that Kazakh specialists are ready to provide advisory and technical assistance in matters of IT technologies in medicine, organization of ambulance work, primary health care and the promotion of medical science.
