Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, as part of his working trip to Ulytau region, visited the historical and cultural complex "Zhoshy Khan", built in 2021 on behalf of the Head of State. This year is the 800th anniversary of the formation of Ulus Zhoshy.

Olzhas Bektenov familiarised himself with the state of the historical and cultural complex located near the mausoleum and including a monument to Zhoshy khan and a tent camp.

The complex was built on behalf of the President within the framework of the 750th anniversary of the Golden Horde. Since its opening, the facility has been visited by more than 35 thousand tourists from the regions of the country, far and near abroad.

"Head of State, speaking at the National Kurultai, noted that Ulus Zhoshy occupies a significant place in the tradition of statehood of Kazakhstan. Given the importance of the complex, it is necessary to take all measures to further develop the infrastructure and improve the tourist potential," Olzhas Bektenov emphasised.
