Murat Mukhanov

He was born in 1985 in Mangystau region.

He graduated from the Kokshetau Technical Institute of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Saint Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters.

He began his career in 2006 as Chief Specialist of the Regulatory and Technical Department of the Department for State Control and Supervision in the Field of Emergency Situations of Mangystau Region.

From 2006 to 2014, he worked in various positions in the structure of the Department for Emergency Situations of Mangystau Region.

From 2014 to 2017, he was Head of the Department for Control and Preventive Activities in the Field of Fire Safety, Head of the Office for Control and Preventive Activities in the Field of Fire Safety of the Department for Emergency Situations of Mangystau Region.

From 2017 to 2020, he served as Deputy Head of the Department for Emergency Situations of Mangystau Region.

From 2020 to 2023, he was Head of the Department for Emergency Situations of Mangystau Region.

From 2023 to 2024, he served as Acting Deputy Chairman of the Fire Service Committee of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2024 to 2026, he was Head of the Department for Emergency Situations of Mangystau Region of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since June 2026, he was Chief of Staff of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On September 3, 2026, by Decree of the Head of State, he was appointed Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
