Prime Minister Askar Mamin's working visit to Mangystau region

During the working trip, a bilateral meeting of the prime ministers of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, Askàr Mamin and Ali Asadov, took place. As part of the working trip to the Mangystau Region, Prime Minister Mamin attended a capsule laying ceremony at the construction site of a methanol and olefin plant. The project is being implemented by Singapore-based WestGasOil, with an investment of $1.8 billion

In order to increase the tourist attractiveness, a multifunctional tourist complex Aktau Resort Hotel is being built in the region

Mangystau Oil Refining LLP mini-refinery processes about 75-80 thousand tons per year. By 2020, a new hydrocarbon processing plant with a capacity of 830 thousand tons per year will be launched
