Kazakhstan will carry out complex and substantive work on attracting investments with the most priority countries. The Minister for Investment and Development Zhenis Kassymbek said this during a briefing in the press center of the Government.

Zhenis Kassymbek said that today, within the framework of the National Investment Strategy, priority countries have been identified with which it is planned to actively cooperate in attracting foreign investment.

"36 countries are the first priority, of which we single out 11 top-priority countries with which we plan to work in this direction. Eleven countries are the main investors in our economy. 25 years of Independence showed that mostly these countries are investing in Kazakhstan. In principle, they are the main investors in the whole world. Among them, such European countries as Germany and France, as well as the United States, Russia, China, South Korea, Japan and a number of others," Zh. Kassymbek said.

He noted that substantive work will be carried out with these states, in particular, Kazakh Invest company already has its representatives there who are working on specific projects and funds. In addition, for a year now, with each embassy in these countries, a special adviser to the ambassador is working on attracting investments.
