Bakytzhan Sagintayev discussed the implementation of joint projects with the US Deputy Minister of Energy Dan Brouillette

Today in Ukimet Uyi Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with First Deputy Minister of Energy of the United States Dan Brouillette on issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.

 

During the meeting, joint industrial projects with large American multinational companies in Kazakhstan were discussed.

The sides also considered prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of research and new technologies, including through strengthening the work of the Kazakhstan-US Joint Commission on Energy Partnership.

In 2017, the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and the United States marks 25 years. The United States is the second largest investor in Kazakhstan ($2.2 billion). In Kazakhstan, there are about 500 companies with US capital participation.
