Funding for training of demanded specialists increased in 2017 in Aturau region — N. Nogayev

To date, the Akimat of Atyrau region has allocated 106 million tenge for training of 222 students from socially vulnerable segments of the population in the region’s demanded specialties. This was announced by akim of Atyrau region Nurlan Nogayev during a press conference in the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"This year the Head of State signed the law according to which local executive bodies have the opportunity to finance the training of students in the specialties necessary for the region. In connection with this, we allocated 106 million tenge for training 222 students," Nurlan Nogayev said.

Of the total number of grants, 178 have been allocated for training specialists in bachelor's specialties in the pedagogical sphere, 35 grants for training specialists in the medical education and science organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and nine for agricultural specialists.

Thus, future doctors have been sent to the West Kazakhstan State Medical University after M. Ospanov and Kazakh National Medical University after S. Asfendiyarov. It was decided to train teachers at the West Kazakhstan State University after M. Utemisov and Atyrau State University after H. Dosmukhambetov. Future veterinarians are currently studying at the West Kazakhstan Agricultural University.

"In addition, from the money allocated from subsoil user companies for the development of infrastructure, we have allocated funds for additional training of doctors," the akim of Atyrau region summed up.
