Alikhan Smailov gets acquainted with Ayil Amanaty project realization in Aktobe region

During his working trip to Aktobe region, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov familiarized himself with the implementation of the Auyl Amanaty project to increase the incomes of rural residents.

Ainur Zholdybayeva, a resident of Don village of Chromtau district, received a loan in the amount of 6.5 million tenge at a rate of 2.5 percent within the framework of Auyl Amanaty. The funds were used to open a bakery, which now provides fresh bread and other bakery products to local residents on a daily basis. Thanks to the project, the average family income, according to the woman, has increased significantly.

Another Don villager, Asylkhan Temirkhanov, received a 3.5 million tenge soft loan through Auyl Amanaty. These funds were used to purchase 500 hens of egg-bearing breeds. On average, laying hens bring 350 eggs per day. The products are in high demand among fellow villagers.

Akim of Aktobe region Yeraly Tugzhanov told Head of Government in detail about realization of Auyl amanaty in the region.

"We started the project in November 2022. Before embarking on it, we screened each village and for the first time developed a Plan of socio-economic development of all 134 rural districts. 6.5 billion tenge was allocated from the national budget to finance the project. It is expected that in September this year an additional 12.5 billion tenge will be allocated," the regional akim said.

Prime Minister emphasized that improving the welfare of citizens is one of the main tasks of the Government.

"The experience of realization of the Auyl Amanaty project should be widely spread in all regions. This year, 100 billion tenge has been allocated for it, at the expense of which it is planned to support many entrepreneurial initiatives in rural areas. Next year we will allocate another 100 billion tenge. Thanks to the project, the standard of living in rural communities will significantly improve. Aktobe region is one of the leading regions in its implementation. Taking into account the gained pace this work should be continued," Alikhan Smailov said.

Currently, residents of the region have applied for financing of 1486 projects within the framework of Auyl Amanaty for the amount of 6.5 billion tenge. Approval has been received for 1389 projects, 930 of which have already been financed to the amount of 4 billion tenge. As a result, 1122 new jobs have been created, more than 103 thousand birds have been purchased, 48 greenhouses have been built, 146 hectares of potatoes and other vegetables have been sown, 389 new small business facilities have been opened in rural areas (bakeries, mini-workshops for meat and milk processing, etc.).

At the same time, in Aktobe region a mechanism of issuing commodity loans to support low-income families without collateral has been introduced. Large peasant farms provide them with farm animals on the terms of commodity loans. Such a loan is repaid with a part of the received litter within 3-5 years. To date, 4,580 cattle have been given to 329 families with the support of peasant farms.
