Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov met with representatives of Kazakh IT companies to discuss the support of AI startups in the fields of education, sports, and industry within the framework of the tasks set by the Head of State in his Address to the Nation “Kazakhstan in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Solutions Through Digital Transformation.”

Representatives of the domestic company Paradigm Shift (CodiPlay) presented updates on the implementation of their new projects:

• AI Kitap – a digital textbook for school subjects designed to personalize educational materials according to each student’s level, analyze progress, and identify knowledge gaps. A working version has been developed, and integration of AI Kitap with AITU is underway.
• OlympIQ – a technological platform for the development of sports. The system enables the processing of analytical, operational, medical, and organizational data using artificial intelligence. A roadmap has been developed, and the first prototype versions have been prepared.

The Prime Minister was informed that a list of schools and sports federations has been selected for the pilot implementation of the AI Kitap and OlympIQ projects.

“The development of artificial intelligence technologies is a key task of the Government. We will provide comprehensive support for the initiatives of domestic companies,” Olzhas Bektenov emphasized.

The meeting also addressed company initiatives to develop technologies aimed at optimizing production processes, increasing efficiency in the energy and transport sectors, reducing operational costs, and improving risk management. The products include intelligent systems for data analysis, forecasting, and automation, which are being implemented in critical industries.

Following the meeting, relevant government bodies were instructed to review the proposals presented by the IT specialists.
