Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak discussed topical issues of Kazakhstan-Russian cooperation in energy, oil, gas and infrastructure.

The parties expressed readiness for joint implementation of promising projects. In particular, they discussed the construction of CHPPs in the cities of Kokshetau, Semey and Ust-Kamenogorsk, modernisation of the 3rd and 4th units of Ekibastuz GRES-2 and other important areas of cooperation.
