As part of his working visit to the city of Baku (Azerbaijan), Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov took part in a collective meeting between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the heads of delegations of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States, as well as in the meeting of heads of government/vice-president of the OTS states.

At the 9th meeting of the Project Office for the implementation of the Tax Code, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin, another set of issues related to the application of new tax provisions and upcoming legislative changes within the Eurasian Economic Union was considered.
At the regular meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission held on March 13 in Moscow, the EAEU Technical Regulation “On the Safety of Paint and Varnish Materials” was adopted. The Kazakhstani delegation was headed by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov and President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Masato Kanda discussed the development of investment cooperation and financing of infrastructure and socially significant projects in line with the strategic priorities outlined by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The parties reviewed current issues of interregional cooperation in trade, industrial collaboration, transport and logistics infrastructure, as well as the development of cultural and humanitarian ties.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov chaired a meeting of the Council on Improving the Investment Climate, focusing on the implementation of agreements reached by the heads of state within the framework of the C5+1 format between the countries of Central Asia and the United States.
