Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov took part in the narrow-format meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIC) held in Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyzstan).

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Turchin, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan.

The participants reviewed the progress in implementing the instructions of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting held in Almaty on January 31 of this year. Attention was given to the implementation of strategic directions of integration in the field of digitalization of customs and tax administration, as well as the improvement of information exchange using modern technologies.
