Roman Sklyar met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Kazakhstan Cho Tae-ik

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alibek Bakaev met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Kazakhstan Cho Tae-ik.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues and prospects for the further development of Kazakhstani–Korean cooperation.

The successful implementation of joint investment projects in such areas as mechanical engineering, information technologies, agriculture, and others was noted.

“We highly value the strategic partnership with the Republic of Korea and the achievements we have reached through our joint work. The implementation of our partnership has allowed us to create new jobs, introduce innovations, and expand production capacities,” Roman Sklyar noted.

In turn, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Cho Tae-ik expressed gratitude to the leadership of Kazakhstan for its support and cooperation, emphasizing the importance of strengthening bilateral relations in various sectors of the economy.

Ambassador Cho Tae-ik also congratulated Kazakhstan on its accession to the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The diplomat emphasized that Kazakhstan is a major player in the uranium industry and wished success in the construction of a nuclear power plant.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Roman Sklyar thanked Ambassador Cho Tae-ik for his personal contribution to the development of Kazakhstani–Korean relations and wished him success in his further diplomatic career.
