Implementation of the President’s Instructions on Establishing Aviation Hubs: Government to Intensify Infrastructure, Service and Fleet Upgrades
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov chaired a Government session to review issues of aviation sector development and digitalization. Reports were delivered by Minister of Transport Nurlan Sauranbayev, Deputy Minister of Transport Gulzat Kobenova, Head of the Civil Aviation Authority Michael Daniel, as well as the management of Air Astana, TransInfoTech, the Association of General Aviation Pilots, and akimats of East Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, Mangystau, and Kostanay regions.
«The rapid development of artificial intelligence is already influencing people’s worldview and behavior, especially among the youth. There is no alternative, as this process is fundamentally transforming the world order and the way of life of all humankind. We must be prepared for this. Decisive action is required; any delay may lead to the most serious consequences. Therefore, I have set a strategically important task to transform Kazakhstan into a fully digital country within three years».
