Over 860 Thousand Tons of Diesel Fuel Allocated to Farmers This Year

At a Government session, Minister of Energy Yerlan Akkenzhenov reported on the supply of diesel fuel to agricultural producers as part of preparations for the 2025 autumn fieldwork.

According to him, the Ministries of Energy and Agriculture approved a delivery schedule of 402 thousand tons of diesel fuel for the period from July 1 to November 31. Additionally, in accordance with the instruction of Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin, 20 thousand tons were allocated for autumn fieldwork and 40 thousand tons for the drying of grain and oilseeds. Thus, according to the minister, the total volume of diesel fuel for agricultural producers in 2025 amounted to 863 thousand tons, including spring and autumn fieldwork and drying.

Regarding pricing, Yerlan Akkenzhenov noted that earlier, for two years, the price was kept at 228 tenge per liter including delivery, which meant a final cost for farmers of 250 tenge per liter. He emphasized that the margin for supply operators was 22 tenge per liter. Currently, the recommended price of diesel fuel is 232 tenge per liter to the destination station, while the final price set by regional operators averages 254 tenge per liter.

To ensure transparency and control, the minister said three key measures were introduced: separate PIN codes (digital labeling), coloring of diesel fuel in yellow, blue, and red, and the creation of a separate virtual warehouse in the electronic invoice system.

Speaking about the implementation of the plan, the head of the ministry reported that 238 thousand tons were shipped between July and September, which is 60% of the volume scheduled for this period. Specifically, in July the plan was fulfilled by 88%, in August by 90%, and in September 22% of the monthly plan was shipped.
