Akims of Akmola, North-Kazakhstan, Kostanay and Zhambyl regions reported on the results of the harvesting campaign at the Government session.
The results of the harvesting campaign were considered at the Government session chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. The total harvesting area of agricultural crops this year totalled 23.3 million hectares, of which 16.7 million hectares are occupied by cereals and leguminous crops.

The ministers of agriculture, trade and integration, transport, as well as akims of a number of regions reported on the provision of farmers with quality seeds and mineral fertilisers, as well as the sale of agricultural products, including export markets.
Pavlodar region is on the 4th place by the volume of sown areas of cereals in Kazakhstan. Of the total sown area of 1.6 million hectares of cereals and legumes sown on 928.5 thousand hectares, oilseeds - 374.3 thousand hectares, fodder - 281.2 thousand hectares, the rest - vegetables.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held an extended meeting with representatives of domestic agribusinesses, which discussed issues of support for the agricultural sector and the progress of the harvesting campaign. How to solve the problems of farmers, preventing uninterrupted harvesting, was discussed in the Government at the regular meeting of the Operational Headquarters for autumn field work under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin.
