The main events of the week from 11 to 16 March 2019
Prime Minister Askar Mamin chaired a regular meeting of the Government on March 12 in Ukimet Uyi. The draft revised Forecast for Socio-Economic Development for 2019-2023 and the republican budget for 2019-2021 were approved, socio-economic development resultsand execution of the republican budget for January-February 2019 were summed up, and the draft State Tourism Development Program for 2019 – 2025 was generally approved.
Monday Askar Mamin held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Kazakhstan Alexei Borodavkin.
The same day, March 11, the Prime Minister met and discussed issues of bilateral cooperation with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammetkhan Chakiyev.
Tuesday, March 12 in Ukimet Uyi Askar Mamin held meetings with representatives of international financial institutions. Among them are the Regional Director of the Asian Development Bank Giovanni Capannelli, Regional Representative of the Islamic Development Bank Hishan Taleb Maruf, Head of the Representative Office of the International Finance Corporation in Kazakhstan, Cassandra Colbert.
March 13 Mamin met with the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev.
Thursday, March 14 the Prime Minister Mamin visited Astana Hub and some facilities on the territory of Expo.
Friday, March 15 Askar Mamin discussed cooperation in the oil and gas industry of the country with Vice President of Total Bernard Clement.
March 16 on behalf of the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Prime Minister Askar Mamin visited the Turkestan region and the city of Shymkent.
