Bakytzhan Sagintayev was briefed on the progress of job creation in Almaty region

During the working visit to Almaty region, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bakytzhan Sagintayev, was briefed on the work of the industrial zone "Taldykorgan", where new production facilities were opened, and also heard a report on measures to ensure employment of the inhabitants of the region.

B. Sagintayev was informed about the current activities of the industrial zones "Taldykorgan", "Bereke", about the work of the FEZ "Khorgos - Eastern Gate", and reported on the progress of the construction of the new Nurkent town in Panfilov district of the region and the development of the satellite city Gate Sity.

It is worth noting that currently there are 11 enterprises operating in Taldykorgan industrial zone, including factories and workshops for the production of metal products, insulating basalt slabs, asphalt, concrete and others. Also, in the nearest future, it is planned to place the production of more than nine enterprises.

In order to ensure new production by qualified specialists in the region, job fairs are held on a regular basis. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, B. Sagintayev, visited a fair in the new park "Zhastar", where about 100 enterprises offered more than 1,500 jobs.

Bakytzhan Sagintayev was informed that thanks to regular fairs, more than 6 thousand people have been employed since the beginning of this year. In particular, 2,300 people are provided with permanent jobs, 1,300 people are seasonal workers, 2,700 people are covered by paid public works at the expense of local budgets.

To provide citizens with jobs, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan is implementing a set of measures to develop the service economy.Iin addition, on behalf of the President of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev, the Program for the Development of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship was adopted, as well as a program of free vocational education for unemployed youth.
