The model of economic development proposed by President Nursultan Nazarbayev demonstrated its efficiency and resilience in the face of the global crisis, Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Zhumagulov said at the opening of the First Nazarbayev Readings “New Kazakhstan in New World”.
“The model of economic development proposed by President Nursultan Nazarbayev demonstrated its efficiency and resilience in the face of the global crisis. The impact of the crisis on Kazakhstan’s development was minimized and the country got quickly back to the way of sustainable growth” B.Zhumagulov said.
As the Minister noted, according to experts, Kazakhstan took the third place among 25 most rapidly developing economies of the first decade of the 21st century.
B.Zhumagulov also said that the new model of forced industrial-innovative development proposed by the President would become the most powerful factor of the country’s development.
As earlier reported, international forum – the First Nazarbayev Readings titled “New Kazakhstan in New World” was opened in Nazarbayev University today. The forum is aimed to demonstrate the role of President N.Nazarbayev in establishment and development of independent Kazakhstan.
