Government meeting discussed issues on industrial cooperation

Today Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov has held a regular meeting of the Government. The meeting discussed the implementation process of President’s instructions related to improvement of Law on migration, as well as industrial cooperation within the framework of EEU.

As for the industrial cooperation, Minister on Investments and Development Asset Issekeshev stated: “Trade between Kazakhstan and the Custom Union for 2013 amounted to 24,6 billion US dollars, total volume of export is 6 billion US dollars”.

“The volume of recycled goods exceeded the volume of raw products. Total volume of final product exceeded a billion US dollars,” Issekeshev noted.

According to the Ministry, Kazakhstan’s producers are able to export products to the RF in 30 good items. We underlined about 60 Kazakhstan’s enterprises. Total volume of potential export is 6,7 billion US dollars.

The meeting also discussed the issues on creation of industrial zones, mechanisms to support export financing, establishing Kazakhstan’s representative offices abroad.

At the end of the meeting Prime Minister instructed the state bodies.
