The issues of development of barrier-free trade, formation of business climate, disclosure of tourist potential were considered.

Heads of delegations of the Eurasian Economic Union member states attended the session: Roman Golovchenko, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus; Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic; Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation; Mher Grigoryan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia; Heads of delegations of the EAEU observer states: Aref Mohammad-Reza, First Deputy Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran; Abdulla Aripov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Abdulla Aripov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan; and others.

Olzhas Bektenov, Head of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, paid special attention to the importance of economic integration and the development of trade between the countries of the Union.

"As noted by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Eurasian Economic Union has proven its effectiveness as one of the most important platforms where the process of economic integration and development of mutual trade is successfully implemented. At the same time, the ability to effectively adapt to external conditions at the national level, as well as within the EAEU, becomes a key factor in ensuring the competitiveness of our economies," Olzhas Bektenov emphasised.

In this regard, the Kazakh side noted a number of priority areas for joint work within the Union. Today, the EAEU legal system allows member countries of the economic union to introduce temporary veterinary and phytosanitary measures on the import of certain products. Application of such measures closes transit through the territory of the state that has established restrictions, thus prohibiting access to the country of destination. Particularly noted the importance of creating a barrier-free environment in trade relations.

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan also stressed the importance of creating a favourable business environment to ensure sustainable economic growth. Today in the Union operates a mechanism for assessing the regulatory and actual impact. It is proposed to expand the application of the actual impact assessment mechanism on international treaties within the framework of the Union to improve the business environment.

Attention was also paid to the prospects of co-operation in the tourism industry. A proposal was made to strengthen the work on the creation of a single information resource on popular routes and attractions.

Following the meeting, the participants signed a number of documents aimed at strengthening the economic potential of the EAEU, improving the business climate and implementing joint projects.
