Roman Sklyar, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held a meeting with Marco Arcelli, CEO of ACWA Power.

ACWA Power is the world's largest private desalination company and a leader in the transition from traditional energy sources to more sustainable and environmentally friendly technologies, including the production of ‘green’ hydrogen.

Marco Arcelli noted the readiness of ACWA Power to expand its investment portfolio in Kazakhstan, emphasising the importance of strengthening cooperation in the areas of renewable energy, desalination and green hydrogen production. He emphasised the significant potential of Kazakhstan for the development of these technologies due to its vast natural resources and strategic location.

In conclusion, Roman Sklyar assured that the Government of Kazakhstan attaches great importance to co-operation with ACWA Power and is ready for further cooperation.
