As part of the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, systematic work is underway in the regions of the country to develop infrastructure, modernize social and transport facilities, as well as to provide the population with high-quality drinking water and housing. Below are the facilities launched over the past week:
In Akmola Region, the reconstruction of railway stations at Kurort-Borovoye, Akköl, Makinsk, Shortandy, Zhaksy, Saryoba, Ereymentau, Erkinshilik, Olenti, Derzhavinsk, Zhaltyr and Arshaly stations has been completed. All facilities were adapted for people with limited mobility and equipped with modern ventilation, air conditioning and fire safety systems.
In Aktobe Region, the reconstruction of the railway stations at Shalkar and Shubarkuduk stations has been completed. Facades, roofs, engineering networks and interior premises were updated at the facilities, and new furniture and equipment were installed. In the Ili District of Almaty Region, the SAN Baiserke warehouse complex with a capacity of up to 3.5 million tires per year was put into operation, becoming the largest logistics hub for tire storage in the CIS. The facility with an area of 22.6 hectares includes warehouses, a processing plant, a service center, as well as social infrastructure with a dormitory for 180 places and a park. The new hub will ensure wholesale supplies of products across Kazakhstan and to the countries of Central Asia.
In Turkistan Region, the “Tama-Tastanbek” group water pipeline with a length of 39.3 km was put into operation, which will provide high-quality round-the-clock drinking water from an underground deposit to more than 31 thousand residents of the city of Shardara.
In the city of Satpayev in Ulytau Region, 30 families from the category of socially vulnerable segments of the population received keys to apartments in new residential buildings. The project was implemented within the framework of an agreement between the akimat and Otbasy Bank, and by the end of the year it is planned to provide housing to about 900 families in the region.
