As part of the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, systematic work is underway in the regions of the country to diversify the economy, develop the manufacturing industry, and promote import substitution. In particular, new productions, logistics, and social facilities have been launched.

Metal Structures and Concrete Plant

A complex worth 4.7 billion tenge was opened in the Karasay district of the Almaty region. Capacity — 10 thousand tons of metal structures and 300 thousand m³ of concrete per year, as well as sandwich panels and modular buildings. 80 jobs were created; the products will go to the domestic market and for export to Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

Logistics Complex

The first stage of a Class A warehouse complex on a 50-hectare site was opened in the Karasay district of the Almaty region. Investments in the first stage amounted to 20 billion tenge. The total cost of the project is 70 billion tenge. The complex will provide 3PL services, and its total capacity will reach 160 thousand m² of warehouses. The project will create 1.2 thousand jobs, of which 135 have already been employed.

Camel Milk Powder Production Plant

A complex worth 3 billion tenge, including 1.8 billion tenge of preferential financing from the Industry Development Fund, was launched in Aralsk. The enterprise with a capacity of 400 tons of finished products per year created 23 jobs. The plant will process up to 20 thousand liters of raw materials daily from local livestock breeders.

Edible Salt Production Plant

Production of premium edible salt worth 1.8 billion tenge was opened in Aralsk. The plant’s capacity is 40 thousand tons of products per year; 20 permanent jobs were created. The enterprise will supply the domestic market with edible salt and begin export deliveries to neighboring countries.

Laminate Production Plant

A laminate production plant worth 5 billion tenge was launched in the SEZ “Turan” of the Turkestan region. At the first stage, 65 jobs were created with a capacity of 840 thousand m² of products per year for the domestic market. With the launch of the second stage, capacity will increase to 2.4 million m², and the number of jobs — to 150.

Sports and Recreation Complex

A sports and recreation complex with an area of 3 thousand m², including a swimming pool and football field, was put into operation in the Alginsky district of the Aktobe region. The facility is designed for up to 150 visitors per day and will expand access for rural youth to mass sports.

Atyrau – Batumi Air Route

Regular direct air service between Kazakhstan and Georgia has been launched. Flights are operated once a week on Tuesdays on Airbus A320 aircraft, which will expand international connections and utilize the tourist potential of the regions.
