The prospects for the implementation of investment projects in Kazakhstan’s agro-industrial complex and trade sector were discussed.
Yusuff Ali noted that the company currently imports Kazakh meat and agricultural products and expressed its intention to expand cooperation, highlighting the country’s high potential and favorable investment conditions.
Special attention was paid to the company’s plans to build a meat-processing plant and a distribution center for purchasing agricultural products in Kazakhstan.
Olzhas Bektenov emphasized that Kazakhstan is interested in implementing these initiatives, which are in line with the tasks set by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his Address to scale up deep processing projects for agricultural products.
Today, Kazakh agricultural products are exported to more than 70 countries, and the Republic intends to double this figure by tripling productivity in the sector.
“The agro-industrial complex traditionally holds an important place in the country’s economy. Kazakhstan is open to expanding cooperation — from creating joint agro-technoparks and export-oriented logistics hubs to developing e-commerce and other projects. All necessary conditions have been created in our country for this,” Olzhas Bektenov emphasized.
Following the meeting, government agencies were instructed to provide the necessary support for the implementation of the projects.
