During a working visit to China in the city of Hangzhou, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar held working meetings with Mr. Wang Hao, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang Province, as well as with executives of leading Chinese industrial companies.

The parties discussed priority areas of bilateral strategic partnership. Prospects for further deepening investment and industrial cooperation were reviewed, and agreements were also reached to strengthen cooperation between Kazakhstan and Zhejiang Province in the fields of mechanical engineering, automotive manufacturing, and new and high technologies, including the activation of practical interaction at the interregional level.

In addition, the steady dynamics of Kazakhstan–China industrial cooperation and the significant practical experience of Chinese companies in implementing large-scale industrial projects were noted. It was emphasized that cooperation is developing within the framework of the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China and is oriented toward long-term technological development of breakthrough sectors of the economy.

Following the meetings, representatives of Chinese companies confirmed their readiness for the consistent implementation of the agreements reached, expansion of production and technological cooperation, as well as deepening localization and the introduction of modern engineering solutions in the territory of Kazakhstan.

Roman Sklyar emphasized the readiness of the Government of Kazakhstan to support and develop joint initiatives without delay, as well as to coordinate their implementation and create conditions for the successful execution of projects at all stages. An agreement was reached to continue constructive interaction and practical elaboration of priority projects in the fields of metallurgy, mining and processing, and automotive manufacturing within the framework of the Kazakhstan–China strategic partnership.
