Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting on the restoration of housing and infrastructure after floods. Ministers of Industry and Construction Kanat Sharlapayev, Energy Almassadam Satkaliyev, Deputy Minister of Transport Satzhan Ablaliyev reported on the current situation and ongoing work. Akims of West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Atyrau, Akmola, North Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions were also heard.
During the joint session of the Chambers of Parliament, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov commented on the progress of reconstruction work to eliminate the consequences of large-scale floods.
At the Government session chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov the progress of repair and restoration work in the regions affected by the flood was reviewed. The Minister of Industry and Construction Kanat Sharlapayev reported on the situation at the moment.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov as part of a working trip to North Kazakhstan region familiarised himself with the initial results of work to eliminate the consequences of floods and provide housing for flood-affected residents. The process of construction and issuance of new houses was checked, as well as houses after the repair carried out by residents and with the involvement of mechanised brigades were examined.
At the Government session chaired by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, the issue of liquidation of consequences of floods in Kazakhstan was considered off the agenda.
