Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin and Minister of Trade and Industry of Afghanistan Haji Nooruddin Azizi discussed the main aspects of cooperation on August 2, 2023.
The day before, a representative business delegation from Afghanistan headed by Minister of Industry and Trade Haji Nooruddin Azizi arrived in Astana.
At an operational meeting in the Government, held on July 26 this year under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Trade and Integration Serik Zhumangarin, discussed the scale of the situation and possible measures of state support in connection with the abnormal heat and low rainfall in some regions of Kazakhstan.
Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Trade and Integration Serik Zhumangarin took part in the 98th meeting of the CIS Economic Council in Moscow.
At the Government session chaired by Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov the progress of the Food Security Plan for 2022-2024 was considered. Reports were made by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Trade and Integration Serik Zhumangarin, Minister of Agriculture Yerbol Karashukeyev.
Ahead of the plenary session in Baku, Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin met with Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov.
Participants of the second friendly dialogue of cross-border cooperation between Kazakhstan and China, which was held in Almaty during the official visit of Ma Xinzhui, member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China, to Kazakhstan agreed on strengthening of bilateral economic relations.
