The working group included Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Yerzhan Zhilkibayev, Vice Minister of Healthcare Lyazat Aktayeva, Chair of the Committee for Construction, Housing and Communal Services Markhabat Zhaiyymbetov. Secretary of the Nur Otan Party Tamara Duisenova joined the working group today.
The day began with a meeting with the mayors of the city, districts, heads of large enterprises, business structures and trade unions, which was held on the basis of Kazphosphate LLP, Novozhambyl phosphoric plant. In her speech, Gulshara Abdykalikova noted that today throughout the country, entrepreneurs actively help large and low-income families, showing a high social responsibility. In Zhambyl region, 272 large employees work in 14 enterprises, of which 217 have no housing. For example, in Zhambyl Electric Networks LLP, out of 60 large workers, 49 have no housing. She appealed to businessmen with a request not only to solve housing issues and provide material assistance, but also to provide for them a flexible mode of operation.
Further, in the city House of Culture named after Dukenuly, the deputy prime minister and members of the working group met with the population of the region. The audience consisted of mothers of many children, low-income families, labor veterans, disabled people, teachers, doctors, public representatives. Opening the meeting, Gulshara Abdykalikova emphasized that the new social measures of Elbasy “Aleumettik Qamqorlyq” are implemented in the framework of the new social policy, the main purpose of which is to increase the welfare of each person. At the end of the speeches of the members of the delegation, the residents of the region asked their questions and received concrete answers.
The next item on the working trip was the city polyclinic No. 5 in Taraz, where a meeting was held on the provision of primary health care in the Zhambyl region. To date, 30 hospitals and 148 outpatient healthcare organizations provide medical care in the region. The share of primary health care physicians in the total number of physicians is 60.4%. There are 31 public-private partnership projects to be implemented. At the expense of the republican budget, a regional oncologic dispensary for 200 beds in the city of Taraz is being built. The vice premier focused the meeting participants on the importance of developing the infrastructure of primary health care.
In the second half of the day, Abdykalikova got acquainted with the material and technical equipment of the Higher Polytechnic College, where she held a meeting with students. A live interactive conversation took place. Young people expressed their support for the state youth policy and raised topical issues, ranging from the priority of knowledge as the basis for the development of human capital, to certain aspects of social and labor policy. So, Makhanbet Rakhimzhanov from the Zhambyl region focused his colleagues on the issues of youth employment, proposing a number of constructive approaches.
At the end of the working visit to the region, Abdykalikova gave a number of specific instructions to the regional leadership.
