Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov in West Kazakhstan region visited the most remote village Korzhyn of Karatoba district, affected by floods.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov is on a working trip to the west of the country. The main purpose is to check the progress of fulfillment of the instructions of the Head of State on providing the victims of floods with housing.
The Government of Kazakhstan has allocated an additional 22.7 billion tenge from the emergency reserve to eliminate the consequences of spring floods and the restoration of destroyed infrastructure facilities. The corresponding decree was signed by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov.
Head of the Government Olzhas Bektenov during his working trip to East Kazakhstan region familiarized with the plans for the development of road transport industry and checked the pace of construction of the Kurchum bridge crossing over the Bukhtarma reservoir. The project is being implemented by order of the President taking into account the requests of residents for transport connection of several districts with the central part of the region.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov is on a working visit to East Kazakhstan region. The main purpose is to monitor the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State on modernization of energy and social infrastructure, development of metallurgical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as transport, logistics and tourism industries.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting on the restoration of housing and infrastructure after floods. Ministers of Industry and Construction Kanat Sharlapayev, Energy Almassadam Satkaliyev, Deputy Minister of Transport Satzhan Ablaliyev reported on the current situation and ongoing work. Akims of West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Atyrau, Akmola, North Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions were also heard.
At the Government session chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, the Concept on introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in various spheres of the country's economy was adopted. Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek made a report on the development of science and technology in Kazakhstan.
At the Government session of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov the Concept of development of artificial intelligence was considered. The Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Zhaslan Madiyev reported on the implementation of projects in the industry.
The Minister of Energy Almassadam Satkaliyev reported on the current state and prospects of the gas industry at the Government session.
During the Government session of the RK on measures to address pressing issues and unlock the potential of the country's gas industry reported the Chairman of the Board of NC “QazaqGaz” Sanzhar Zharkeshov.
