Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting of the Council for Improving the Investment Climate with the participation of representatives of the international business community and the diplomatic corps.
Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin reviewed the activities of information systems and digital transformation projects of the Ministry of Finance.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov took part in a collective meeting in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) between the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov and the heads of delegations of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States, as well as in the meeting of the heads of government/vice president of the OTS member states.
In the Merki district of Zhambyl region, the modern hotel complex KeruenInn was launched. The project was implemented with the assistance of the Investment Headquarters of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which, in accordance with the President’s instruction, has been vested with the authority to promptly resolve investors’ issues and remove administrative barriers.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Lepekha reported at the Government session on the work being carried out in the republic to ensure road and pedestrian safety.
At the Government session, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin presented the draft National Action Plan for the implementation of the President’s Address “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Solutions through Digital Transformation.”
At a Government session chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, the issue of ensuring road and pedestrian safety was considered as part of the implementation of the Head of State’s instructions. Reports were heard from Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Lepekha and the akims of Almaty, Mangystau, Zhambyl, and Karaganda regions.

In fulfillment of the President’s instructions, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin held a meeting dedicated to scaling up projects in the agro-industrial complex (AIC) and curbing inflation.
The prospects for the implementation of investment projects in Kazakhstan’s agro-industrial complex and trade sector were discussed.
