Minister of Education and Science
Born in 1966, has two higher educations. In 1990 he graduated from the Kazakh State University named after S.M. Kirov, faculty of economy, qualification is economist - teacher of political economy.
In 1993 - University of Minnesota, Department of Applied Economics of Minneapolis , the United States, has a Master of Science degree.
He began his career in 1990 with the post of second secretary on development of international economic relations of Department of Applied Economics of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
From 1992 to 1993 he was assistant on analysis of state agriculture department of the World Bank, the curator of countries of Eastern Europe, the CIS, the USA.
From 1995 to 2004 he held senior positions in business structures.
From 2003 to 2009 he was Chairman of the Board of JSC "New technologies. Kazakhstan ", held the position of General Director.
From 2004 to 2012 - President of the University of International Business.
Since February 2007 - Freelance Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2008 - 2009 - he served as Independent Director of JSC "Investment Fund".
From 2009 to 2012 - Chairman of «FrontierMiningLtd» Board of Directors, at the same time he was President of the International University of Information Technologies.
From 2010 to 2011 he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Academy of Regional Financial Center of Almaty city.
From 2011 to 2012 - Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "Kazakhstan real estate".
From 2012 to 2013 - Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From February 7 to August 2014 - Vice-Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From August 17, 2014 till July 2015 - Deputy Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On February 10, 2016 he was appointed as Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
