Minister of Healthcare

Azhar Giniyat

 

Azhar Giniyat was born in 1969 in the West Kazakhstan region.

In 1992 she graduated from Aktobe State Medical Institute, in 2007 she graduated from Aktau State University named after Yesenov, in 2015 she graduated from Almaty Management University.

She began her career in 1993 as a district pediatrician in the city polyclinic of Atyrau. 

From 1994 to 1999, she was a doctor-infectiologist, head of the department of medical sanitary unit №1 in Aktau.

From 1999 to 2001, she was deputy chief physician for medical work in Mangistau infectious diseases hospital.

From 2001  to 2005, she was deputy head of the Department of Healthcare of Mangystau region.

From 2005 to 2006 years, she was Director of the Department of Healthcare of Mangystau region.

From 2008 to 2017, she was Head of Department, Director of Department of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since September 2017, she served as deputy head of the Medical Center of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2020-2022, she was Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On January 11, 2022, she was appointed Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On April 4, 2023, she was reappointed Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
