Today in Ukimet Uyі, the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev chaired a meeting of the Council for improvement of the investment climate.
The meeting reviewed the implementation of the Nation’s Plan "100 Specific Steps" in terms of improving the country's investment climate in the areas of protection of intellectual property rights, improving tax legislation and creating new instruments to resolve investment disputes.
Minister of Justice, Marat Beketayev, Executive Director at the American Chamber of Commerce, Doris Bradbury, the US ambassador to Kazakhstan, George Krol, the British Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Michael Gifford, the Canadian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Nicholas Brousseau, Head of Political Press and Information Section at the EU delegation, Zoltan Szalai, the OECD Director for Public Governance, Marcos Bonturi, Partner for International Taxes, Energy and Resources at Deloitte, Anthony Mahon, Baker & McKenzie Partners, Curtis Masters and Andrei Yorsh, Managing Partner at White & Case Kazakhstan, Maksim Telemtayev, General Manager of Coca-Cola Almaty Bottlers, Ahmet Ertin took part in the discussions.
