First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlybek Nalibayev paid a working visit to the Aktobe Region, where he familiarized himself with the implementation of projects in the fields of transport infrastructure, industry, housing and communal services, digitalization, as well as the construction of social facilities.

The projects being implemented with the support of the Head of State are primarily aimed at improving the quality of life of the population and the further socio-economic development of the region. The progress of large-scale works, emerging issues and the timelines for their implementation are under the constant control of the Head of Government.

This year, construction and repair of 1,122.5 km of roads of republican significance are underway in the Aktobe Region. Of these, 856 km will be reconstructed with an upgrade to a higher technical category, and two bridges are also undergoing major repairs.

The first facility visited was the republican road “Aktobe – Karabutak – Ulgaysyn” with a total length of 262 km. Construction is being carried out by seven contracting organizations on seven sections.

In the near future, road organizations will begin implementing projects for the construction of the roads “Kyzylorda – Saksauelsk”, “Ulgaysyn – Saksauelsk” and “Beyneu – Saksauelsk”, the official start of which was given the day before by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev via teleconference. On site it was emphasized that such large-scale and strategically important projects must be completed within the established deadlines with unconditional compliance with quality requirements.

“Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, via teleconference, launched the implementation of three major road construction projects. He set the task of completing them with high quality and in full by 2029. Therefore, it is necessary to organize the work as efficiently as possible and promptly resolve emerging issues,” Nurlybek Nalibayev noted.

During the visit, information was also presented on the progress of works on the roads “Emba – Shalkar”, “Kandyagash – Shalkar”, the road through the village named after Temirbek Zhurgenov in the direction of the Kostanay Region, as well as at the “Alimbet” checkpoint.

Seven railway stations of the Aktobe Region are included in the program for the modernization of 124 railway stations of the country, being implemented at the initiative of the Head of State. While familiarizing himself with the progress of the reconstruction of the railway station in the city of Aktobe, responsible officials were instructed to ensure strict compliance with deadlines and quality of works, comprehensively landscape the adjacent territory, and bring the architectural appearance of the buildings to a unified style.

On the second day of the working visit, a meeting was held dedicated to issues of the socio-economic development of the region, attraction of investment, development of industry and implementation of the instructions of the Head of State. Participants discussed additional opportunities for taking the economy of the Aktobe Region to a new level. Specific tasks were set for the timely launch of investment projects, attraction of new production facilities to the “Aktobe” special economic zone, financing and technical modernization of agriculture.

Next, Nurlybek Nalibayev visited the “109” Situation Center, where he familiarized himself with the digital platform integrated with state information systems, as well as the Aktobe Ferroalloy Plant of JSC “TNK Kazchrome”, where a plan for the further development of production was presented.

As part of the working visit, the readiness of JSC “Aktobe CHPP” for the upcoming heating season was also reviewed. Responsible officials were instructed to complete repair works within the established deadlines and ensure stable passage of the heating period. According to the plan, preparation should be completed in September.

Next to the “Konys” sports complex in Aktobe, construction of a new public park with an area of 1.6 ha continues. The project provides for walking and running paths, children’s and sports grounds, an amphitheater and recreation areas. Currently, construction works are in the final stage. The creation of such public spaces corresponds to the objectives of the “Taza Qazaqstan” environmental campaign.

At the conclusion of the working visit, projects planned for implementation in the business zone of the Altyn Orda microdistrict were presented, including the construction of a musical and drama theater and a new football stadium for 35 thousand spectators.

Following the results of the visit, instructions were given to ensure strict quality control of the construction of all infrastructure facilities being implemented in the region. It was emphasized that for a region with high industrial and infrastructure potential it is especially important to complete each project in a timely and high-quality manner so that they can serve the benefit of residents as soon as possible.
