The main events of the week from April 20 to 26, 2020
On April 23, the President of Kazakhstan visited the metropolitan modular infectious diseases hospital, built within two weeks during the state of emergency caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
On Friday, the First President – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev held a meeting of the Security Council, in the framework of which the strategic issues of combating the coronavirus epidemic, as well as economic recovery and post-crisis development of the country were considered by video conferencing.
At the Government session on Tuesday, the implementation of the Nurly Zhol State Program for 2020-2025 was considered. The Head of Government instructed to ensure timely commissioning of the objects planned for the current year.
Prime Minister Askar Mamin took part in an extraordinary video conference meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
On April 24, Prime Minister Askar Mamin chaired a meeting of the State Commission on Economic Modernization, where measures of state support for systemically important enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan were considered.
On Saturday, the prime minister inspected the progress of social housing being erected within the framework of the Nurly Zher program – the housing complexes Bakhystan and Bazis, which are planned to be commissioned this year in Nur-Sultan.
On the same day, Askar Mamin held a meeting on the development of the mining and metallurgical complex.
