Within the framework of the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, systematic work is being carried out in the regions of the country on economic diversification, development of the manufacturing industry and import substitution. In particular, new production facilities, infrastructure and social facilities have been put into operation.

In the North Kazakhstan Region, a dairy farm has been put into operation. At the first stage, a cowshed for 800 head, a dairy unit, premises for dry and calving cows for 550 head, two calf houses and a feed mill have been built. The largest milking carousel in Central Asia for 100 head has been installed on the territory of the complex. 585 head of breeding cattle have already been imported from Germany. Another 660 head will arrive by the end of the year. The total livestock of the project will reach 12,000 head.

In the Abay Region, a plant for processing sunflower seeds and producing vegetable oil has been put into operation. The cost of the project is 7 billion tenge. The enterprise is capable of producing up to 300 tons of oil per day, cleaning up to 500 tons of seeds and producing compound feed. More than 120 jobs have been created; the products are oriented toward the domestic market and export.

In the Zhanakorgan District of the Kyzylorda Region, a poultry farm costing 5.5 billion tenge has been opened. The capacity of the enterprise is about 6,000 tons of poultry meat per year. At the facility, which includes 12 poultry houses, slaughter and incubation shops, 120 jobs have been created. The products will be supplied to the region and neighboring regions.

In the Karaganda Region, a brick factory has been launched. The total volume of investment exceeded 1.5 billion tenge. The capacity of the enterprise is 45 million bricks per year with a full production cycle based on its own clay deposit. The products will meet the needs of the Karaganda and Akmola regions.

In the settlement of Zhanakorgan in the Kyzylorda Region, a water distribution station and a supply network have been put into operation. The project costing 1.1 billion tenge was implemented using funds from assets returned to the state. As a result, about 1,500 houses have been provided with high-quality drinking water.

In Taldykorgan, 41 families from among socially vulnerable categories of citizens received keys to new housing in the Bereke cottage town, the Zhastar-3 residential area, the Shygys and Kulager microdistricts, and on K. Zhalairi Avenue. In total, about 1,400 people will celebrate a housewarming in the regional center this year.

In Shymkent, 80 families from among those on the waiting list (large and incomplete families, citizens with disabilities, orphans) received apartments under the rental housing program with the right of purchase.

In the village of Shornak in the Sauran District of the Turkestan Region, a new sports complex costing 1.7 billion tenge has been commissioned. On a territory of 1 hectare, halls for basketball, boxing, wrestling and a gym have been placed. 40 new jobs have been created.

In the settlement of Karnak in the city of Kentau in the Turkestan Region, a Friendship House building for 300 seats has been opened. The total area of the building is 2,800 m². The facility is fully equipped with modern equipment for holding cultural and mass events.
