20 companies from Kazakhstan presented their products at the exhibition in Minsk.
The heads of delegations of the EAEU member states and observer states visited the "INNOPROM. Belarus" exhibition and got acquainted with innovative products manufactured, among others, in Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan is taking part in the international industrial exhibition "INNOPROM. Belarus", which brought together representatives of about 40 countries. The national exposition features companies from the machinery, digitalization, mining and metallurgical, chemical, and light industry sectors. This year, Kazakhstan presented new industrial developments with high export potential, reported Vice Minister of Industry and Construction Olzhas Saparbekov.
"Every project is unique. Among the products for the railway industry, wheelsets manufactured in Kazakhstan are particularly notable. In addition, our enterprises have developed a new S-shaped railway wheel disc used in wagon building. Its service life is higher than that of analogs used for the 1520 mm track gauge. Such developments show that our enterprises are capable of creating innovative and competitive products," noted Olzhas Saparbekov.
Domestic TV Manufacturer Plans to Expand Exports to Central Asian Countries
Almost half of the televisions produced in Kazakhstan are manufactured by a single enterprise. Over five years, DS Multimedia CA has produced more than 250,000 televisions with a total value of around 10 billion tenge. Over the past year, the plant has doubled its daily capacity—from 600–700 to 1,200–1,300 televisions. Production of rear panels, packaging, and components has also been established. Currently, the company's products are supplied to Russia, and in the future, the company intends to expand its product line and is considering entering the markets of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries. The company views participation in the exhibition as an opportunity to find new partners and expand its export geography.
Kazakhstani Home Appliance Plant Doubled Production Capacity in One Year
Kazakhstani home appliance manufacturer Almaty Turmystyq Tehnika Zayyty plans to launch the production of refrigerators and freezing equipment in 2028. Currently, the plant produces kitchen stoves, ovens, hobs, and range hoods.
The company increases its production capacities annually: in 2024, 30,000 units of appliances were produced; in 2025 – 55,000; and by the end of 2026, it is planned to reach 100,000–110,000 units.
"The enterprise has its own stamping, painting, and enameling shops, as well as the production of packaging foam. Metal components are manufactured independently using our own dies and molds. The company developed the product design itself and maximized localized production. The next stage of expansion is climate control equipment, refrigeration, and freezing equipment. We want to manufacture and launch this project in 2028," said the head of the enterprise, Arsen Ushtayev.
Kazakhstani Company Developed an Industrial Pump for Operating in Highly Aggressive Environments
The company LLP "Maker" presented its own development—the CNS-180 horizontal centrifugal pump, which will allow pumping large volumes of water and stabilizing working conditions in mines. The enterprise plans to expand the production of industrial pumps and begin overseas deliveries.
"The device pumps up to 180 m³ of water per hour and is designed for highly aggressive environments where conventional pumps cannot withstand the load. Our products are used to pump water and other highly abrasive masses to ensure more stable and safer working conditions in the mining industry," said the director of the enterprise, Yertzhan Daniyarov.
KSP Steel Expands Production and Boosts Seamless Pipe Exports: Contracts Worth Over $90 Million Signed in One Year
The only manufacturer of seamless oil pipes in Kazakhstan, KSP Steel, is expanding its product line and boosting exports, reported the company's Commercial Director Bauyrzhan Kozhabekov. The plant, with a capacity of up to 300,000 tons of products per year, signed contracts worth over $93 million with the United States—4.5 thousand tons of pipes have already been shipped. The plant's products are also delivered to Canada, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan.
"We fully meet the objectives set by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the import substitution program. We plan to expand domestic production into new segments, such as pipes with premium threaded connections and pipes with an internal anti-corrosion coating, which will later be used in construction, drilling, as well as overhaul and workover of wells," said Bauyrzhan Kozhabekov.
Qazaq Investment Company, which produces computer and server equipment, plans to launch Kazakhstan's first full-cycle SMT line for board production in the near future: the country will manufacture its own servers, motherboards, and storage drives.
"This project will allow us to implement the Head of State's program in the field of import substitution for computer equipment components. We also plan to use artificial intelligence in our future boards. This directly corresponds to our President's program to increase the share of artificial intelligence content in Kazakhstani products," said Maxat Abishken, representative of Qazaq Investment Company.
Startup TrustExam.ai Implemented a Remote Control System in the Industrial Sector for Employee Certification
As part of the development of IT solutions in Kazakhstan, TrustExam.ai scaled its system for certification, verification, and proctored examinations to the field of industrial safety. The solution makes it possible to confirm the validity of employee knowledge at enterprises whose operations involve risks to health and life. Today, the development is used in Russia, Canada, India, and the United States.
Under a 5-year contract with Gazprom Neft, about 100 employees of the Russian company underwent industrial safety certification using the Kazakhstani development in 3 to 4 months.
