Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting of the Council of Domestic Entrepreneurs on the development of transport and logistics infrastructure of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the participation of the leadership of sectoral ministries and government organisations.
The Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dmitry Mun, reported on the ongoing work on digitalisation of the aviation industry at a government session.
During the meeting of the Government chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov the issue of development and digitalisation of the aviation industry of the country was considered. Deputy Minister of Transport Talgat Lastaev made a report on the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State, the current situation and further plans.
On the instructions of the Head of State, Kazakhstan started construction of three new airports in the resort areas of Zaisan, Katon-Karagai and Kendirli to develop domestic tourism and passenger air travel. The implementation of these projects will give an impetus to the development of the economy of these regions, as well as contribute to the inflow of domestic and foreign tourists. These projects will create additional jobs for the local population.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov visited the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Astana and left a note in the book of condolences opened in connection with the crash of Embraer 190 aircraft of Az Airlines near Aktau airport.
