Within the framework of the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, systematic work continues in the country’s regions to improve the quality of life of citizens. New engineering networks are being put into operation in the regions, social facilities are being opened, and modern tourism infrastructure is being created.

Gasification of the City of Kosshy Completed

In the city of Kosshy in the Akmola Region, the gasification project has been fully completed and put into operation. The second and third start-up complexes of the network from the Saryarka main gas pipeline have been officially launched, thanks to which all microdistricts have gained the opportunity to connect to natural gas. As part of the project, more than 400 km of gas distribution networks have been laid, 1 block and 43 cabinet gas pressure regulating points have been installed, and about 112 thousand residents have been provided with natural gas.

Gasification of the Village of Poltavka

In the village of Poltavka in the Aktobe Region, natural gas has been launched — the cost of the project amounted to 581.4 million tenge. As part of the gasification, 6.4 km of the supply gas pipeline was laid and the engineering infrastructure was fully equipped. Access to natural gas was obtained by 99 households and 316 residents, thanks to which the level of gasification of the region reached 97.5%.

Water Supply of the Village of Besagash

In the village of Besagash in the Almaty Region, a new water pipeline more than 32 km long was built to replace the 1975 network with 95% wear. As a result, over 800 subscribers uniting more than 3.8 thousand residents were connected to the centralized system. In addition, the region is completing the preparation of projects for the modernization of 127 km of water pipeline and the installation of additional transformers in the village of Tuzdybastau.

Center for Active Longevity

In the city of Derzhavinsk in the Akmola Region, a Center for Active Longevity was opened. The institution is equipped with a gym, zones for yoga, board games and folk crafts, as well as a vocal studio. The facility was placed in the same building as a children’s music school and a children’s creativity center to strengthen intergenerational ties.

Training of Teachers in Adaptive Sports

In the Karaganda Region, a project has been launched to train 500 physical education teachers in the basics of adaptive sports for work with children with special educational needs. As part of the project, each school in the region will be provided with a trained specialist, and the corresponding course will be introduced into the program of two local colleges. At the same time, the network of adaptive sections and the number of participants in the inclusive labor detachments “Zhasyl El” are being expanded in the region.

Visit Center “Saryarka Syry”

In the Bayanaul resort zone, a modern visit center Vizit Bayanaul “Saryarka Syry” with an area of 740 m², equipped with digital technologies and artificial intelligence, has been opened. The facility was implemented as part of a large-scale renewal of the region’s tourism infrastructure, which also includes a new entrance stele and the improvement of recreation areas. Comprehensive modernization will make it possible to increase the tourist flow this year to 300 thousand people.
