Nurlybek Nalibayev Familiarizes Himself with the Implementation of Social and Infrastructure Projects in Kyzylorda Region

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlybek Nalibayev arrived on a working visit to Kyzylorda Region, where he familiarized himself with the progress of construction of social and infrastructure facilities being built on the instruction of the President.

In recent years, educational, healthcare, cultural, and sports institutions have been built in the region, which are already serving the residents.

At the meeting of the National Kurultai held at the beginning of the year, the Head of State noted: “On my instruction, the construction of a multidisciplinary hospital with 300 beds has begun in Kyzylorda. In the near future, a polyclinic for 500 visits and a perinatal center for 200 places will be built.” These large-scale projects are under the constant control of the Government.

On the territory of the Presidential Park, the delegation familiarized itself with the progress of construction of a residential complex consisting of fifteen nine-story buildings. The project, worth 22 billion tenge, is financed from the republican budget. The complex provides for 945 apartments, which will soon be put into operation.

Special attention was paid to the Botanical Garden, created with the support of the President. More than 3.3 thousand specimens of 92 species of exotic and tropical plants brought from China, Japan, South Africa, Australia, Madagascar, and the countries of South and Central America have been planted here. The complex is equipped with modern engineering systems for automatic microclimate and irrigation control.

On the same territory, the third Presidential Library in the country and a new drama theater are under construction. Their construction began in April. Investors allocated 20 billion tenge for the construction of the library: the building will house modern reading and conference halls, an archive, a printing house, a media laboratory, and a podcast studio. The collection will have the capacity to store more than a million books. The theater is designed for 520 seats and will be equipped with rehearsal halls, studios, administrative offices, and modern stage equipment.

Along the bank of the Syr Darya River, a protective dam is under construction: special supporting structures are being installed, and pedestrian and bicycle paths are being laid. The work has been completed by half.

At the site of the multifunctional sports complex “Kyzylorda Arena,” finishing works, installation of structures, engineering networks, and stained-glass windows are actively underway. The complex includes a 50-meter swimming pool, a universal hall for 2.5 thousand seats, and a conference hall for 300 seats. The facility is planned to be put into operation this year.

During the trip, new investment projects were also presented: the construction of a residential complex on the left bank, the production of ventilation and climate control equipment, sanitary ware, the production of tomato paste and vegetable purees, the extraction of liquefied natural gas, the construction of two mining and processing plants for lead and zinc processing, as well as a multifunctional shopping and entertainment center.

In the village of Titov, City Polyclinic No. 5 for 400 visits per shift is under construction, costing 9.7 billion tenge. On the left bank, another polyclinic for 500 places is being built, costing 14.78 billion tenge. It will include outpatient and diagnostic departments, a day hospital with 50 beds, classrooms, and a conference hall.

The construction of the multidisciplinary hospital with 300 beds is also progressing at an accelerated pace. 34.9 billion tenge has been allocated for the implementation of the project. The complex includes a polyclinic, operating and intensive care units, chemotherapy and radiotherapy centers, physiotherapy, a boarding house, and administrative premises.

While inspecting the facilities, Nurlybek Nalibayev instructed the contractors to strictly observe the deadlines and quality of construction:

“As is known, large-scale projects in the healthcare sector are being implemented in the region with the support of the President. The goal is to make medical services accessible to the population. These facilities are under the special attention of the Head of State, and every stage of construction is controlled by the Government. The buildings must be delivered on time and meet all requirements so that the services provided are impeccable,” he emphasized.
