Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting on improving the system of compulsory social health insurance within the framework of the constitutional reform and the tasks set by the Head of State at the V meeting of the National Kurultai.
In fulfillment of the instructions of the Head of State given in the Address “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Tasks and Their Solutions Through Digital Transformation,” the Government has approved a Comprehensive Plan for Improving the Management of the Quality of Medical Care in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2026–2030. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.
Seven years of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s presidency have become a period of deep and consistent transformation of Kazakhstan’s socio-economic and political development model. The National Research Center for Infectious Diseases (NRCID) was officially opened in Almaty — a key facility established on the instruction of the Head of State to strengthen the country’s biological security system.
Under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva, issues related to the development of the social sector in the Karaganda region were reviewed in Karaganda. The discussion was attended by representatives of relevant social sector ministries, as well as the Akim of the region, Yermaganbet Bulekpayev.
On the instruction of the Head of State, the Government, represented by the Ministry of Healthcare, is implementing a comprehensive set of measures to modernize and develop the sector, aimed at patient-centered care, increasing accessibility, and improving the quality of medical services. This was reported by First Deputy Minister of Healthcare Timur Sultangaziyev.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting on reforming the system of state financing for private educational and medical organizations as part of the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State given in the programmatic interview “Kazakhstan Has Entered a New Stage of Modernization.”
As part of the implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to increase the share of domestic production in the pharmaceutical industry to 50%, a major strategic investment project will be implemented in Kazakhstan. The corresponding resolution has been signed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.
