Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov chaired a meeting on the implementation of the Head of State’s instructions regarding the development of artificial intelligence (AI).
At a Government session, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhaslan Madiyev reported on the work being carried out to provide educational organizations with Internet access and on the launch of a pilot initiative to introduce artificial intelligence into the school curriculum.
First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Baurzhan Alenov reported at a Government session on the work being carried out to ensure the safety of children in connection with the start of the new school year.
Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova, at a Government session, spoke about the staffing of schools with medical units ahead of the new school year, measures to protect students’ health, and the introduction of the new nutrition standard.
At a Government session, Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek reported that in 2025, the Unified National Testing (UNT) was held from May 16 to July 10 at 46 regional centers. More than 210,200 applicants took part, of whom 76.35% (160,500 people) passed the threshold score. The average score was 69.42.
At a Government session, Minister of Education Gani Beisembaev reported on the implementation of measures under the Head of State’s instructions to further improve the quality of education, enhance and develop the sphere of secondary education, preschool upbringing, and ensure the safety of children.
At a Government session chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, the readiness of schools, colleges, and universities for the new academic year was discussed. Special attention was given to the implementation of the Head of State’s instructions, announced at the session of the National Kurultai, regarding the introduction of the Unified Educational Upbringing Program “Adal Azamat” in all educational institutions across the country.

Kazakhstan proposed increasing exports of high-quality agricultural products to Serbia at the 4th meeting of the Kazakhstan–Serbia Intergovernmental Commission (IGC), held in Almaty on August 8. The IGC was co-chaired by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin and Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić.
