Tourism is one of the important areas of economic growth and increasing Kazakhstan’s investment attractiveness. In his Address, the Head of State noted the importance of further improving the quality of tourist facilities, unlocking the potential of promising destinations, and making the comprehensive development of tourism infrastructure one of the constant priorities of local executive bodies.
At the Government session chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, a set of measures was reviewed to enhance safety levels at key tourist destinations in the country ahead of the summer season. The Government continues systematic work to implement the course set by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
