At the Government session on issues of water supply and wastewater disposal in populated areas, Vice Minister of Industry and Construction Kuandyk Kazhkenov reported on the full implementation of the Head of State’s instruction to provide the population with access to drinking water by the end of 2025.
At the Government session chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, issues related to the development of water supply and wastewater systems, as well as the introduction of digitalization and water-saving technologies, were considered.

According to preliminary data from the Bureau of National Statistics, Kazakhstan’s gross domestic product increased by 6.5% in January–December 2025 compared to the same period of the previous year.
