At a plenary session of the Mazhilis, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin submitted to the deputies the Forecast of the country’s socio-economic development for 2026–2028.
Answering a question from a deputy at the plenary session of the Mazhilis about the reduction of dividends to the state budget from national companies, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov stated that national companies are directing large sums to the implementation of major investment and social projects in the regions, and as far as the transparency of spending is concerned, that point is now ensured by the current legislation.
During the plenary session of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where draft laws on the republican budget for 2026–2028 and on the amount of transfers were considered.
At the Government session, Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan Chingis Arinov reported on the measures being implemented to enhance emergency response efficiency. He noted that the country has introduced geoinformation systems and AI-based analytics for monitoring emergency situations. Video surveillance cameras are installed across the regions to monitor fire hazards.
At the Government session, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev presented a report on the current results and plans for the development of communications and the country’s digital infrastructure.
At the Government session chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, the issue of ensuring fire safety during the heating season was discussed. The main report was delivered by Minister for Emergency Situations Chingis Arinov, with additional reports from the leadership of the East Kazakhstan, Akmola, and Kostanay regions.

Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov met with representatives of Kazakh IT companies to discuss the support of AI startups in the fields of education, sports, and industry within the framework of the tasks set by the Head of State in his Address to the Nation “Kazakhstan in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Solutions Through Digital Transformation.”
The Digital Headquarters, chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, is working on the prompt and systematic implementation of the tasks set by Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his Address to the Nation “Kazakhstan in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Solutions Through Digital Transformation.”
As part of the World Bank and IMF Annual Meetings, the Kazakh delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin held meetings with representatives of the three largest international rating agencies – Fitch, Moody’s, and S&P.
