In the city of Boao, Hainan Province, on the sidelines of the 25th Annual Conference of the Boao Forum for Asia, a meeting was held between First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Zhao Leji.
As part of the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev given during the V meeting of the National Kurultai, the Government has approved the National Project “Development of Coal-Fired Generation.” The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.

Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek reported at the Government session on the implementation of the provisions of the new Constitution, emphasizing that the updated Basic Law enshrines Kazakhstan’s strategic shift toward a knowledge-based economy.
The development of education, science, innovation and technology is enshrined in the new Constitution as a strategic priority of state policy. This was stated by Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhuldyz Suleimenova at the Government session.
